Both parties agree that THE WALNUT STREET MINYAN, 36 LEARNING MATTERS, THE NEW JEWISH ACADEMY, and its proprietor, Avi Bernstein-Nahar, will not be held responsible for any liability incurred by the signatory, their sponsors, and affiliates as a result of the signatory’s participation in the LECTURE on July 19, 2026. The signatory and their sponsors, and affiliates will particularly indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the above mentioned organizations and their officers, directors, partners, agents, members, and employees from and against any and all demands, claims, damages to persons or property, losses and liabilities, including reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of or caused by the signatory’s negligence (including but not limited to the sale and service of alcohol) or caused by any defect in the premises or equipment, other than in the case of negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

The signatory agrees that the above mentioned organizations have the right to take photos, video, etc. of all events occurring during the course of the evening's event  and that they will maintain ownership of all such materials. All attendees who visit 858 Walnut Street for this program may be photographed or recorded and the material may be posted to related social media channels without restriction.
